MY WEEK IN BANGKOK

The last destination of my Super city Trip by Cathay Pacific has gone to an end. I’m writing this in ThePier, the Business Class lounge of Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong and I’m ready to fly back home in an hour. it was my first time in Bangkok and it amazed me a lot. I had a lot of presumptions about the city as travellers told me they either loved or hate it. As I have quite some followers in Bangkok who always shared their favorite cafes with me (thank you!) and they all looked so lovely I had to put the destination on my wish list. The city is huge, so it takes a while to discover the several parts of the city. Of course you have to see the old part of town, the part where all the temples, Wat in Thai, are located. I personally wasvery impressed by Wat Pho because of the huge golden Reclining Buddha. Take a boat from The Pier to reach it via the water. Hotspot-wise you have to be in Thong Lo where I stayed at the new Volve Hotel, a small hotel with only 27 rooms. Discover the area by taxi or motorbike and you’ll find the most amazing spots. I will share some of them here on Petite Passport soon, so you know where to go!

For now: this is what caught my eye during this week in Bangkok (and now I have to run in order to catch my flight!):
